When some people hear the word “Referrals”, their first reaction is usually “I’m not interested” or “Aint nobody got time for that!”. These were my exact words before I realized how easily I could make extra money from Referrals. Keep reading and you too will be making easy money in no time.
The great thing about referrals is that they’re very effective, based on the premise that people trust their friend’s recommendations. A lot of people have been referring their friends and family to Crowdyvest, not for incentives but because they are simply happy with our services. However, most people (like me) would love to be rewarded for referrals and that is why Crowdyvest recently launched a double-sided referral program where both the referrer (the person who recommended the product) and the referee (the person who agrees to use the product) get rewarded.
A referral code has been automatically created for every member on the Crowdyvest platform, all you need to do is log on, copy your code and share it with your friends and family. As soon as your code is used to sign up and save, you both get rewarded. Sounds easy right? It sure is!
Unfortunately, most people run away from Referral Programs because they are too shy to go about it. Well, I have great news for you, social media has made things very easy. Gone are the days where you would have to visit or call all your family and friends one after another to tell them about a product. All you have to do now is share on your Whatsapp, Twitter, Instagram, and even Linkedin pages. I recommend doing this a couple of times since people tend to ignore a post if they see it only once (trust me on this).
So, there you have it, problem solved! Get ready to make some Schmoney, lol. Now, let me give you a simple step by step guide on how I started my referral journey
- First of all, I shared my code with my immediate family members. Why else do you have a family if they’re not the first to support you? lol.
- Next, I shared my code with my close friends. At this point, I had gained some confidence
- After that, I shared my code with my colleagues, both current and former colleagues
- Then I went a step further and shared with my church group
- Lastly, I shared to my acquaintances and followers on social media
It’s quite interesting to note that in spite of the rewards, many people do not see a need to participate in referral programs because they think it’s beneath them. “I have a lot of money, why would I want to refer you to someone because of a few Naira?”. I totally understand that, but guess what, there’s no such thing as “too much money”. A very popular song by Nigerian Grammy award-winning artiste, Burna boy is titled “Dangote still dey find money”, so what’s stopping you?
